After a successful recording session at Fox studios with the Willoughby Symphony Orchestra only a few weeks ago Mahmood Khan is set to perform Live with the orchestra to launch the first single 'Jagamarra' at The Councourse, Chatswood.
'Jagamarra/ Eternity Return', was inspired by the first Aboriginal friend MK made in Australia and is named after him.
The Aboriginal female choir Gambirra Mob will also perform the 'Jagamarra chant'.
The event will also be blessed by the presence of Jagamarra himself who will enlighten the audience with a few words of wisdom.
For the first half of the program the orchestra will play Mahmood Khan compositions/Instrumentals. Then in the 2nd half Mk will join the orchestra to sing a few original songs.
Mahmood Khan the Pakistan born singer songwriter became the first Artist in Australian music history to achieve mainstream success by going number one on the ARIA Pop charts with his song Like the River. It was recorded live at the Sydney Opera House. Mahmood also has a film degree from Sydney Film School.
