Power Lines is an album about the invisible forces that move through a life.
The lines between where we begin and where we arrive.
Between love and leaving.
Between memory and change.
Between the person we were and the person still waiting ahead.
These songs emerged from movement—from one country to another, one room to another, one version of life into the next. They carry the sound of distance, longing, freedom, devotion and the strange connections that only become visible when we look back.
Power Lines is not simply a collection of songs. It is one continuous emotional landscape.
A story called
THE GREAT
LEAVING
Before the album, there was a story called The Great Leaving.
Jack is a young singer-songwriter still trying to become the artist he knows he can be. During a small living-room performance, the human audience slowly disappears. In their place, unexpected listeners begin to gather.
Through his music, Jack discovers a forgotten connection between the human world and the living world around it. He learns of an ancient covenant:
“If it bleeds red, it is kin.”
The covenant once recognised every living being as part of one family. But over time, humanity forgot. Now something is preparing to leave.
This story became part of the emotional world behind Power Lines: a meditation on memory, freedom, belonging and the invisible bond running through all life.
